45 Magazine (45 Mag) is a literary journal that began with women’s stories in conjunction with creative writing, visual art, informative articles, book reviews, entrepreneurial advice, and more. Since then, we have been receiving publications from men and women from every walk of life. Eventually, we began to receive an overwhelming submission of poems, and that’s when it became clear that 45 Mag needed to be a poetry journal.
With 45 Mag, writers have the comfort and security of submitting their work in a safe space without having to overthink whether their work might be “too much” for the publication—45 Mag in itself is too much! Our content is candid, edgy, sincere, and relatable because of that.
Writers receive full literary credit and ownership of their published works. Felt like that needed to be said.
