Wine Down & Write Virtual Event: Safe

Talk about wine. Talk about writing. Talk about life.

We are safe when we can be ourselves
When we are able to let our guard down.
in conversation,
sharing our bodies
or hearts.

Safety is a warm hug
from the one.
It is the feeling when you make it inside your home
and the door is locked.
Safety is also freedom
It is love
It’s comfort mixed in a lime green mason jar with honey, cinnamon,
and Irish whiskey, ornamented with an orange sliver.

We are safe when we get on our knees and pray.
We are safe when…we have no fear.
